Description

Non-Slip Decking Strips - Aluminium Bolt Down Plates

Premium Bolt Down Plates are designed to provide a safe and stable anti-slip installation on unstable surfaces, such as sodden timber, flaking or saturated concrete. They are ideal for use on marine jetties, garden steps, and concrete paths that are prone to icing over in winter. Unlike most materials that require adhesive, a dry surface, and a sound substrate, these plates screw into place with mechanical fixings and are manufactured from 1.6mm weatherproof aluminium, making them suitable for even the most challenging environmental conditions.

Features

  • Screws to unstable substrates such as sodden timber and saturated concrete
  • Ideal for loose surfaces or areas that are constantly wet
  • Constructed from 1.6mm weatherproof aluminium
  • Stainless steel plates available for marine applications
  • Helps prevent slips on steps and fire exits
  • Available with different grades and colors of Safety-Grip for enhanced visibility and security

Particularly wet weather and wintry conditions can lead to accidents around the workplace, with customers slipping and workers losing footing in areas such as fire exits. Premium Bolt Down Plates offer reliable anti-slip support on a wide range of surfaces, functioning as effective non-slip tape for decking and substrates. These plates can be coated with Safety Grip self-adhesive anti-slip tape in various colors, including hazard warning chevrons and photoluminescent Glow In The Dark options. The plates are available in both a standard flat design for screwing onto surfaces and in an L-shape (120mm x 635mm x 45mm) for fixing to steps and stairs.

If used on ocean-going boats or on substrates adjacent to seawater, be aware that the aluminium can corrode due to galvanic reaction. Therefore, stainless steel options are recommended for marine settings.
