Description
Two-channel rubber cable cover, under 20mm high
A low-profile moulded rubber floor cable cover with two separate internal channels, so power and data can be run side by side across the same walkway without sharing a duct. At 107mm wide and under 20mm high it sits low enough that most wheeled traffic barely registers it.
Sold in 1 metre sections, up to a roll of 9 metres. Black with yellow for visibility. Suitable for internal and external use.
Why buyers choose it
- Two separate channels — keep mains and data physically apart in a single crossing.
- Genuinely low profile, with tapered edges and moulded top grooves to reduce trip and slip risk.
- Order by the metre up to a 9 metre roll — buy the run, not a fixed pack.
- No drilling or ground bolts, so it suits leased premises and temporary layouts.
- Indoor or outdoor, and light enough to lift and relocate.
Typical applications
- Warehouse and production walkways carrying both power and network runs
- Office fit-outs, temporary desking and hot-desk power drops
- Exhibition stands, conferences and AV installations
- Classrooms, halls and community venues during events
- Outdoor temporary power and lighting feeds
Construction
Moulded rubber body, 107mm wide, with two enclosed cable channels running its full length and contrasting yellow for visibility. The channels are supplied closed and are opened with a knife so cables can be seated. Both side edges taper down to the floor, and the top face carries moulded grooves.

Installation
Set the cover along the route, cut each channel open along its length with a sharp knife, seat the cables and lay it down. No drilling, adhesive or fixings are required, and it can be lifted and moved as the layout changes.
Maintenance
Brush or mop the top face to clear grit and spills. Lift occasionally to inspect the cables beneath, particularly outdoors or on long-term runs.
Suitability and limitations
Pedestrian and light wheeled traffic only. A second UK supplier of the equivalent profile explicitly designates it pedestrian use only, and no load rating is published by either source. For crossings used by cars, vans or HGVs, specify a rigid vehicle-rated cable protector ramp.
Height and roll weight are published differently by different suppliers, so both ranges are given above rather than a single figure. Channel dimensions are published by the second source only and are internally inconsistent on that supplier's own page. If cable diameter is close to the limit, ask us to confirm before ordering.
No slip-resistance classification (R-rating or PTV), fire-performance class or UV-resistance figure is published for this product, and none is claimed here.
