Description

Trailing cables across a warehouse floor, event space or workshop create a genuine trip hazard the moment foot traffic or a forklift crosses them. This 3-channel cable protector ramp shields cables, hoses and leads from damage while giving pedestrians and vehicles a safe, 24-tonne rated crossing point that keeps power and data running without interruption.

Moulded from hard-wearing black rubber with a hinged yellow PVC lid, the ramp measures 910mm long, 500mm wide and 70mm high overall, with three cable channels: one 45 x 50mm channel and two 45 x 55mm channels, enough room for multiple cables, extension leads or a garden hose. The rubber body absorbs impact from wheeled traffic up to 24 tonnes per axle, and male/female interlocking ends let you connect several ramps end to end to span a doorway, aisle or road crossing without gaps.

Why it earns its place on site

  • Trip hazard eliminated – the sloped rubber profile ramps foot and wheel traffic smoothly over cables instead of catching a toe or castor.
  • 24-tonne load rating – the moulded rubber body is built to take repeated forklift and vehicle axle loads without collapsing the channels.
  • Three cable channels – one 45 x 50mm and two 45 x 55mm channels separate power, data and hose lines so they don't tangle or chafe.
  • Quick, tool-free setup – lift the hinged yellow lid, lay in the cables and close it; no fixings needed for temporary use.
  • Interlocking ends – male and female connectors join multiple ramps together to cover wider walkways or longer road crossings.

Beyond warehouses, this cable ramp turns up at outdoor events, film sets, market stalls and construction sites wherever a temporary cable run crosses a walkway or vehicle route. Full dimensions and channel sizes are set out in the specification table below, and our size and fitting guide explains how to choose between single and multi-run installations.
