Description
This is the AN52R raked double-channel stair nosing supplied cut to your exact millimetre, anywhere from 700mm to 2500mm. It is the same profile as our standard-length listing: 6063 T6 aluminium, 5mm gauge, a 90mm tread plate and a 32mm raked nose, with two 37.25mm channels carrying a matched pair of infill strips. Order it when your going does not divide neatly into 1m or 2m bars and you would rather not cut and waste the offcut on site.
How cut-to-size ordering works
Choose your carrier finish and infill colour, then enter the length you need. The price shown is per centimetre, so a 1,450mm nosing is priced at 145 times the per-centimetre rate. The rate matches our standard bars exactly: whatever a 1.0m bar costs on the standard-length AN52R listing, this listing charges one hundredth of it per centimetre. You are not paying a premium for the cutting.
Cutting tolerance is plus or minus 5mm. Because every piece is cut to order, custom lengths are non-returnable except where the goods are faulty, so measure the going at several points before you order: stairs are rarely as parallel as they look.

Choosing the right option
Castellated PVC is the general-purpose infill and covers most of the colour range. Smooth textured PVC is easier to mop where the cleaning regime matters more than outright grip. Olympic Grip is an aluminium-oxide surface, the most aggressive of the three, and costs more. The aluminium infills are a design choice rather than a grip choice. For the carrier, mill aluminium is the plain untreated extrusion, satin is a soft anodised sheen, and polished is bright and reflective but shows scuffing soonest.
Fitting and care
Drill and countersink the tread plate, plug the substrate and fix with size 8 screws; fixings are not supplied because the right ones depend on your substrate. The profile can be rebated to sit flush into timber steps. Clean with warm water and a neutral detergent, avoiding abrasive pads on the polished finish and solvent cleaners on the PVC infills. The AN52R is specified by its manufacturer for interior use; for external or wet locations they make a separate GRP-insert version which we do not stock.
Ordering and delivery
Cut-to-size pieces are made to order, so allow longer than a stock bar. If you only need standard 1m or 2m lengths, the standard listing is quicker to dispatch. Free samples are available so you can check the infill colour against your floor before you commit. UK mainland delivery is charged at a flat rate shown at checkout.
