Description
Protect against slips on stairs with our Anti-Slip Stair Nosing — moulded fibreglass (GRP) stair tread covers that fit directly over the leading edge of steps to deliver instant, long-lasting grip.
Each nosing measures 55 x 55mm, is robust enough for constant foot traffic, and is finished with a heavy-duty gritted surface that resists delamination even in the busiest stairwells. Built-in fire-retardant additives give excellent fire and heat resistance, and the corrosion-proof GRP body means no rusting, rotting or cracking — indoors or outdoors.
Why choose our stair nosing?
- Two lengths — 1m for single steps and repairs, or 3m for continuous runs and wide stairways (cut to size as needed)
- Two colours — high-visibility Yellow for maximum hazard awareness, or Black for a discreet, blends-in finish
- Fits any step — bonds or screws onto existing concrete, metal or timber stair edges, indoors or outdoors
- Durable GRP construction — resists delamination, corrosion and heavy wear even in high-traffic commercial stairwells
- Fire-retardant — formulated for excellent fire and heat resistance
Where to use anti-slip stair nosing
Warehouses, factories, retail units, schools, offices, fire escapes, car parks, public buildings and any staircase where clearly marked, slip-resistant step edges are needed to reduce trips and falls.

Installation tips
Clean and dry the step edge before fitting. Nosing can be fixed with screws through pre-drilled holes or bonded using a suitable construction adhesive. For continuous stairwell runs, the 3m length can be cut to match individual step widths, minimising joins.
