Description
600mm unbreakable convex mirror for walls and posts
A 600mm multi-purpose convex safety mirror built around an unbreakable, anti-UV treated Polymir optic. It gives a clear, distortion-free image across a 90 degree two-direction view, up to a maximum viewing distance of 11 metres — the right specification for a T-junction in a warehouse, a blind aisle in a shop, or a restricted-view corner on a service road.
The mirror is supplied with a galvanised steel bracket kit that fits both walls and posts of 60 to 90mm diameter, and is covered by a three-year guarantee on the mirror, the frame and the fixings.
Why choose this safety mirror
- Unbreakable Polymir optic — unalterable and anti-UV treated, giving a clear, sharp image with no distortion.
- 11 metre maximum viewing distance — a published figure, so you can specify it against a real sightline.
- 90 degree view in two directions — designed for junctions and corners rather than single blind spots.
- Wall or post mounting — one fixing kit covers walls and posts from 60 to 90mm diameter, and stays angle-adjustable after installation.
- Tested to 183 km/h winds — the fixing kit is rated for exposed external positions.
- Three-year guarantee — covering mirror, frame and fixings.
- Four frame colours — and the frame is a UV-treated thermoplastic resin tested against cracking and yellowing.
- 100% recyclable.
Applications
Warehouses and storage areas; shops and retail floors; offices and reception areas; roads, service routes and site entrances; any location with restricted views or blind spots, indoors or out. Suitable for surveillance, safety and security use.
Choosing a frame colour
Black or white for a discreet appearance where the mirror should recede into the building. Red where the mirror itself needs to be conspicuous. Green to blend into planting and green backgrounds.

Installation
- Identify the sightline you need to cover and confirm the viewing position is within 11 metres of the mirror.
- Fix the galvanised bracket to the wall, or clamp it to a post of 60 to 90mm diameter, using the supplied adjustable bolts.
- Mount the mirror to the bracket and set the angle from the actual approach position, not from beside the mirror.
- Tighten fully. The angle remains adjustable after installation if the sightline changes.
Maintenance
Clean with warm soapy water and a soft cloth; avoid solvents and abrasive pads. Check bracket tightness and mirror angle periodically, and after severe weather or any impact.
Suitability and limitations
A visibility aid, not a replacement for traffic segregation, right-of-way controls or supervised loading procedures. Convex optics compress distance, so objects appear smaller and further away than they are. Effective use is limited to the published 11 metre viewing distance — beyond that, detail is not reliably readable. This 600mm round model is a single size; a post is not included. No slip, fire, IP or impact classification is published for this product.
Product type: convex safety mirror. Diameter: 600mm. Material: Polymir optic, thermoplastic resin frame. Condition: new.
