Description
A flexible delineator post that bends flat when a vehicle clips it and stands straight back up afterwards. There is no spring to fatigue and no rigid post to shear off, so a lane that gets caught occasionally doesn't turn into a repeat repair job.
Key benefits
- Self-righting design returns the post upright after impact, using a heavy duty elastic cord rather than a spring.
- UV stabilised HDPE body resists cracking and colour loss in prolonged sunlight.
- Reflective sleeve to BS 873 Part 2 keeps the post conspicuous in headlights and low light.
- 750mm height marks a route clearly without blocking sightlines across a car park.
- Supplied with or without a base and with a choice of fixings, so it suits both permanent and semi-permanent layouts.
Applications
- Segregating pedestrian routes from vehicle lanes in car parks
- Marking site access roads and one-way systems
- Protecting build-outs, islands and lane transitions
- Temporary works and event traffic management
- Depot and yard circulation routes
Specifications
- Height: 750mm
- Material: UV stabilised HDPE
- Return mechanism: heavy duty elastic cord, spring-free
- Reflective sleeve: conforms to BS 873 Part 2
- Base: supplied with or without base, depending on option selected
- Fixing options: no fixings, one anchor fixing, four anchor fixings, or a bitumen mat
Available options
Choose the base and fixing combination that matches your surface and how permanent the installation needs to be. Select Base Included for a free-standing or bolt-down installation on a finished surface, or Base Not Included where you are replacing the post on an existing base. Fixing choices run from none, through one or four anchor fixings, to a bitumen mat for bonding to asphalt.
Usage
Set posts out at even spacing along the line you want drivers to follow — closer together where the route turns or narrows. On asphalt, the bitumen mat option bonds the base without drilling; on concrete, anchor fixings give a firmer hold. Wipe the reflective sleeve when it gets dirty, since road film dulls reflectivity quickly, and replace any sleeve that has been torn or scuffed through.
