Flexible Floor Beading

Flexible floor beading bends around curves that rigid trims simply cannot follow. Bay windows, curved walls, circular columns and shaped kitchen islands all leave an expansion gap that needs covering, and a straight profile will not do it without unsightly mitred cuts every few centimetres.

Made from a resilient PVC compound, this beading flexes to a tight radius while holding its shape once fitted. The material is hard-wearing, easy to wipe clean and will not crack or split at the bend the way a scored rigid trim does.

It is most often used with laminate, LVT and engineered wood, where the floor must be left free to move and the perimeter gap has to stay open but hidden. Beading covers that gap without pinning the floor down, which is essential if the boards are to expand and contract without buckling.

Available in a range of colours and wood-effect finishes to match common floor decors, supplied in coils or lengths and fixed with adhesive or pins. Cuts cleanly with a sharp knife. UK stock with fast delivery.
