LED Vision Tile Trim
LED Vision tile trims combine an aluminium tile edge profile with an integrated recess for LED strip lighting. The result is a finished tile edge that also throws light, which is why they are specified for step edges, plinths, alcoves, shower niches, kitchen island returns and feature walls.
Functionally the trim does everything a standard tile edge profile does: it caps and protects the cut tile edge, prevents chipping and gives a straight, deliberate line. The lighting channel sits behind a diffuser so the strip itself is hidden and the light reads as an even glow rather than a row of dots.
On stairs, an illuminated edge is a genuine safety feature. It marks each tread in low light without needing overhead lighting, which supports the visual contrast expectations of Approved Document K and Part M and is often requested by fire engineers in hospitality and assembly buildings.
Profiles are sized to standard tile thicknesses and supplied in stock lengths. LED strip and driver are specified separately to suit your run length and colour temperature. UK stock, fast delivery, technical advice available.
