Square Edge

Description

Square Edge Stair Nosings

Square edge stair nosings give a crisp, angular finish to the step edge. The flat front face sits square against the riser, so the profile follows the line of the stair rather than softening it, which suits contemporary interiors, minimalist commercial fit-outs and any staircase built with a genuinely square tread.

Beyond the look, a square profile maximises the usable tread depth, because none of the step is lost to a curve. That makes it a sensible choice where treads are shallow or where regulations set a minimum going.

The range covers aluminium profiles in a variety of tread widths, with single and double channel anti-slip inserts available in standard and high-contrast colours. Contrast options help meet Approved Document K and BS 8300 guidance on making each step edge clearly visible, which is required in public and commercial buildings.

Square edge nosings suit vinyl, LVT, laminate, wood and lightweight carpet. Stock lengths cut to size on site and fix with screws, adhesive or both. Everything is held in the UK for quick dispatch, and our team can advise on gauge if you are unsure.
