Stair Nosing Fittings and Accessories

A stair nosing is only as good as its fixing. This section covers the adhesives, screws, plugs, end caps and tools that turn a profile into a properly finished, long-lasting installation.

High-grab construction adhesives bond nosings to concrete, screed, timber and tile where drilling is not practical or where a screw fixing alone would not hold. Skeleton guns for large-gap cartridges make application straightforward on long runs. Screws and wall plugs sized for stair nosing pre-drilled holes ensure the profile pulls down flat rather than bridging high spots.

End caps close off the exposed ends of aluminium profiles, giving a neater finish and removing a sharp corner at the edge of the tread. Replacement PVC inserts let you refresh the grip surface of an existing nosing without replacing the whole profile, which is far cheaper over the life of a staircase.

We recommend fixing with both adhesive and screws in commercial settings, where footfall and cleaning regimes are hardest on the edge. UK stock with fast dispatch, and our team can advise on the right adhesive for your substrate.
