How do I choose between the 38mm and 50mm tape widths?
Measure the width of your stair nosing insert and select the tape width that matches or slightly underlaps the insert. For most 38mm inserts, use the 38mm tape, and for wider inserts, select the 50mm tape.
Is this tape suitable for use on all stair nosing profiles?
The tape is suitable for most internal stair nosing profiles designed to accept adhesive-backed inserts. Ensure the profile is clean, dry and free from dust or grease before application for the best bond.
How much tape do I need for my project?
Add together the total length of all stair nosing inserts you will be fitting and choose a 50m or 150m roll accordingly. It is advisable to allow a small amount extra for trimming and offcuts.

Came promptly from the start, arriving well-secured in its packaging. Unrolling and applying was straightforward, no fuss at all. Even when things got a bit slippery in our hospital hallway due to heavy foot traffic and cleaning distractions, it stayed put brilliantly underfoot.
Wasnt sure at first considering the simplicity of this solution but it showed up swiftly and in tidy packaging, which I certainly appreciate. Brought it straight to my local hall entrance where all those muddy boots stamp through, securing pvc stair nosing without fuss. Id give it another go, no hesitation—neat delivery counts!
Put it to the test securing those new hardwood steps in our basement ages ago, and this stuff has genuinely stuck around! Held up brilliantly through kids stomping up and down, which made installing it during a weekend DIY stint totally worth it—no frustrating slippage or worn edges yet.
Handy little strip! Found it a breeze to cut this pvc stair nosing tape to the exact lengths I needed for each metal step in our busy shopping mall area. It stuck firmly with zero fuss, giving each stare a neat finish that doesnt go unnoticed even amidst heavy foot traffic.
Got this for freshening up the stair nosing in the librarys main staircase, and it adds a nice finishing touch. The tape holds everything snugly with a seamless edge that blends well into the steps, without looking bulky. Really neatens things up, even up close!
Absolutely loving how this adhesive keeps our nosing inserts secure on our wooden stairs. I went with the 50mm option and couldn’t be happier with how easy it was to apply and how well it blends with the rest of the stairway. It’s the perfect blend of functionality and quality.
