How do I fit the self-adhesive ramp profile?
Ensure both floor surfaces are clean, dry and free from dust or grease. Measure and cut the profile to the required length if necessary, then peel back the protective film from the adhesive strip. Position the profile carefully over the junction and press down firmly along the full length to achieve good contact. Avoid heavy use until the adhesive has fully bonded.
What type of floor coverings can this transition strip be used with?
This ramp profile is designed for use with most hard floor coverings, such as laminate, luxury vinyl tiles, sheet vinyl, engineered wood and tiles, where only a small level difference needs to be bridged. It is not intended for use with thick carpet or very large height variations.
Can the profile be cut to size?
Yes. The aluminium strip can be cut to the required length using a suitable hacksaw or metal cutting tool. After cutting, smooth any sharp edges before fitting to ensure a safe and neat installation.
