Stair goings are rarely a round number. This is the same 77mm 5mm-gauge carborundum nosing as our 1m, 1.5m and 2m stock bars, cut here to the exact millimetre you specify between 250mm and 2750mm, tolerance plus or minus 5mm.
A 5mm gauge aluminium extrusion, 77mm across the tread with a 40mm nose, carrying an aluminium oxide grit insert set in resin. The heavy gauge is what stops the plate dishing between fixings under trolley wheels and hard use; the carborundum is what keeps the grip working after years of that traffic.
Cutting a gritted nosing on site blunts blades fast and leaves a ragged end. Workshop cutting gives clean square ends that sit tight to the wall or string, and lets you order each step to its own measurement.

Measure each tread at the front edge and measure every step. Between two walls take 3mm to 5mm off so the bar drops in cleanly. Custom lengths are made to your figures and are non-returnable except for faults.
Cut lengths are made to order; allow additional working days over a stock bar. Standard UK mainland delivery is a flat rate. Insert colour is confirmed with your order.
