This is a flexible one-piece PVC nosing, not a rigid bar. It can be eased around curved, splayed and tapered steps that an aluminium profile will not follow, and around winders and quarter-landings where a straight nosing would have to be mitred or left short. On straight flights it fits exactly as any other nosing does.

That flexibility also makes it the quicker installation: no drilling, no fixings to sink, and no cut-and-mitre work at changes of direction. It is a cost-effective alternative to a traditional aluminium nosing where the priority is grip and edge definition rather than heavy impact resistance.

Profile and supply

48mm across the tread, 29mm down the riser, 3mm thick, supplied in 3.22m lengths. The top face is ribbed for grip and the underside is serrated so that adhesive keys into it. Cut to length on site with a fine-toothed saw or a sharp knife.
