Yellow GRP Stair Tread Covers — Full Specification

These yellow GRP stair tread covers provide the same 4mm heavy duty GRP construction and full-tread 345mm coverage as the black/white version, in high-visibility yellow. Yellow is the standard specification for DDA-compliant step edge marking — the Equality Act 2010 guidance and BS 8300 require step edges to provide adequate visual contrast for people with visual impairment, and high-visibility yellow against most flooring surfaces (concrete, stone, metal) delivers the required 30+ LRV contrast difference reliably. Available in 6 lengths from 0.6m to 3m.

The impregnated quartz grit surface provides permanent, maintenance-free anti-slip protection. Unlike anti-slip tape which can peel and fade, the GRP construction maintains both its colour and anti-slip properties for 10+ years with no maintenance beyond occasional cleaning. The tread covers can be pressure-washed without any risk of degradation to either the anti-slip surface or the yellow colour.
