With a generous 65mm tread and 42mm riser, this extra-wide profile gives superior coverage compared to standard nosings — ideal for larger stair steps, high-traffic staircases, and situations where maximum edge protection is required. The deeply ribbed tread surface provides excellent slip resistance underfoot, while the smooth riser face keeps the aesthetic neat and modern.
Compatible with all common flooring types including timber, laminate, carpet, vinyl, LVT, and ceramic tiles, this aluminium stair nosing protects vulnerable step edges from chipping and wear while concealing any uneven joins or imperfections at the nosing line. It is equally suited to new installations and renovation projects in homes, offices, schools, retail environments, care homes, and public buildings.
Available in three lengths — 900mm, 1200mm, and 2700mm — and five attractive anodised finishes: Silver, Inox, Champagne, Gold, and Black. The anodising process bonds the finish into the aluminium surface for a hard-wearing, corrosion-resistant result that will not peel or flake over time.
Fixing is quick and simple using the included screw-down system. Pre-drilled holes are provided; just align the nosing to your step, drill if required, insert the supplied plugs, and secure with the provided screws. No specialist tools or skills are needed.
Position the nosing at the front edge of your stair tread. Mark and pre-drill fixing holes if not already aligned. Insert the wall plugs provided, then fasten securely using the supplied screws. For best results on timber or laminate, use a countersink bit to ensure the screw heads sit flush. Cut to length if required using a fine-tooth metal saw or mitre saw.
