This is the same 8mm non-slip insert as our 1m, 1.5m and 2m stock lengths, cut here to the exact millimetre you specify between 250mm and 2700mm, tolerance plus or minus 5mm.
A plain 8mm insert strip bedded into a routed groove so the top face finishes flush with the surrounding tread. Flush means there is no edge for a mop or a trolley wheel to catch, and no separate trim to work loose. At 8mm there is enough material above the groove to take machine scrubbing and industrial traffic.
A strip that stops short leaves an open length of groove that fills with dirt; one cut over-long will not seat. Workshop cutting gives clean square ends at the exact length, which matters most on stairs where every going differs.

Measure each tread individually. Rout the groove slightly deeper than the strip so adhesive can key beneath it, and set the strip back at least 15mm from the front arris. Custom lengths are non-returnable except for faults. Standard UK mainland delivery is a flat rate.
