Is this stair edging suitable for outdoor steps?
No. This profile is designed specifically for indoor use. For external stairs, a nosing manufactured and tested for outdoor conditions should be selected.
Can this PVC stair edging be fitted to any type of flooring?
It is suitable for most smooth internal floor finishes, such as vinyl, laminate and sealed concrete. The substrate must be sound, clean and dry. Always check compatibility of fixings and adhesive with your specific floor type.
How is the stair edging cleaned and maintained?
Regular sweeping or vacuuming followed by wiping with a mild detergent solution is usually sufficient. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh solvents that could damage the PVC surface or reduce slip resistance.

At this price, you cant complain too much when it blends nicely against our hotel lobbys marble floors. The coverage of the tread is quite generous and admits no awkward fit on those posh edges. Its held up admirably under constant footfall, so Id probably get the stair edging again if we tackle more refurbishing down the line.

Works a treat for the library stairs! The pvc stair edging mounts snugly on linoleum, and it didn’t take long to fit them all in, even amidst all those shelves around. Definitely gets some good wear with folks treading up and down regularly, and its well worth the money compared to other options Ive seen about.

Came well-packaged and ready to go, which was perfect because installing these on the office steps during a busy week was quick and fuss-free. The broad ridges on the pvc stair edging provided excellent grip underfoot, even with a bit of morning dew creeping in from outside. Very pleased with how it blended right into our work environment.
