How is the stair edging fixed to the step?
Installation methods can vary depending on the substrate and floor finish. Typically, the nosing is fixed using a suitable contact adhesive or screw fixings in accordance with site requirements and good practice. Always ensure the surface is clean, dry and stable before fitting.
Can I cut the nosing to fit shorter steps?
Yes, the flexible PVC profile can be cut to length on site using a fine-toothed saw or heavy-duty shears. Measure each step carefully and cut the nosing to suit, ensuring square, clean ends before installation.

Had to sort out the front steps in our flat building as they were becoming a bit risky under foot. Installed this trim and it was perfect for the job; easy enough to adjust and install on the rounded vinyl edges, it now adds a neat touch. Unobtrusive yet functional, even in such minimalist surroundings, and its holding up well against constant daily use by tenants.

Came precisely at the right time, just before the busy term started in our school halls. Ive rolled it out on a few of our longer vinyl steps where slippery surfaces were always a concern. The ribbing feels sturdy underfoot and when theres a bit of spillage or wet shoes, you barely notice any sliding. Solid purchase all around!
