Engineered from high-quality aluminium alloy with a 3.5mm gauge, this single-channel stair nosing provides a clean, square-edge finish that guards the exposed front of each step against damage, chipping and wear — while accommodating a coloured PVC slip-resistant insert to boost underfoot safety.
Suitable for use with vinyl, lino and lightweight carpet floor coverings, and compatible with exterior-grade inserts for outdoor applications. Ideal for domestic staircase installations in homes, rental properties, flats and apartments. Supplied in a standard stock length of 2.44 metres (2440mm) — easily cut to size on site to suit any stair width.

Measure the width of your stair tread and cut the profile to length using a hacksaw or metal-cutting blade. Position the nosing at the leading edge of the step, ensuring the tread section sits flat and the riser drops down the front face. Secure with contact adhesive, epoxy adhesive, or countersunk screws through the pre-drilled fixing holes. Press or snap the coloured PVC insert into the channel until fully seated. Allow adhesive to cure fully before use.

How do I fit the PVC insert?
The insert simply presses or clicks into the single channel. No adhesive is required for the insert itself.
