Manufactured from extruded aluminium with an anodised finish, this nosing is corrosion-resistant, hard-wearing, and built to withstand years of heavy footfall without degrading. The deeply ribbed rubber insert channels water away from the tread surface and significantly increases grip in both dry and wet underfoot conditions, helping to prevent slips and falls.
A concealed screw-fix system allows the nosing to be secured firmly to the substrate through pre-punched holes beneath the rubber insert — once the insert is pushed back into place, all fixings are completely hidden for a clean, uninterrupted finish. Complete with fixings included.
Installation is straightforward and requires only basic tools. Remove the rubber insert by lifting it from the channel. Position the nosing on the step edge and mark or use the pre-punched holes to drill into the substrate. For timber or laminate stairs, screw directly into the tread. For concrete, stone, or tile, use the supplied rawl plugs and screws. Once fixed, press the rubber insert firmly back into the channel until it clicks into place, concealing all fixings beneath a smooth, professional surface.
