Is this stair nosing suitable for all types of flooring?
This profile is specifically designed for use with vinyl and similar resilient floor coverings. It may also be compatible with some other thin floor finishes, but it is not intended for use with thick carpets or heavy tiles.
Can the 2.44m length be cut down to fit my stairs?
Yes, the 2.44 metre (2440mm) length can be cut on site using appropriate tools to suit the width of individual steps. Care should be taken to ensure clean, square cuts for a neat finish.
How do I choose the right insert colour?
When selecting an insert colour, consider using a shade that contrasts with the surrounding floor to improve visibility of the step edge. Options such as Hazard, Premium Black, Red or bright greens can provide strong contrast, while more neutral tones like Beige, Brown, Mid Grey or Dark Grey may better complement subtle interior schemes.

Had to ensure our businesss industrial stairs could handle the daily melees, and this aluminium profile did the trick right out of the box. This protector provided that much-needed stability for steel steps without flinching under heavy loads or constant footfall in our warehouse space. The ease of fixing it securely was a bonus, and its holding up brilliantly against frequent use.
Arrived swiftly, the slip-proof addition was placed on a busy office lobby with ease. Despite the frequent tread and occasional spills, it kept its grip remarkably well underfoot, ensuring safe passage across our sleek flooring. A perfect match for those who want their spaces to handle crowds without a hitch thanks to top-quality stair nosing!
Wasnt sure at first if I could handle installing this myself, but it turned up in super sturdy packaging and gave me the nudge to give it a go. Once I unpacked it, the piece slid neatly into place on the subway platform steps. Its proper decent quality for protecting edges, and the two-channel design makes fitting straightforward once you line everything up right. After traffic through there daily, its proving its worth keeping things safe!
Installed it easily on the outdoor steps at my local university where I work. The fitting was straightforward and its held up incredibly well after several months, even with heavy foot traffic and varying weather conditions. I appreciate how smoothly it integrated with the vinyl flooring, maintaining a solid grip and showing minimal signs of wear despite daily use by students and staff.
Solid piece of craftsmanship. I found cutting the nosing to fit my retro staircase surprisingly straightforward, though a touch fiddly with the angles needed. Once in place, it provided an immediate smart and protective edge. In terms of value for money, the stair nosing has been a sensible investment considering its durability and ease of installation.
Got this for the hospital corridor stairs and it really neatens up the edges. The stair nosing blends perfectly with the vinyl, giving a professional finish while staying sturdy with a lot of traffic every day. Well worth what you pay for how it looks and holds in busy areas.
