This is the same solid brass raked back nosing as our 1m, 1.5m and 2m stock bars, cut here to the exact millimetre you specify between 250mm and 2750mm, tolerance plus or minus 5mm.
Solid brass with a raked rear edge that lands onto an existing floor covering without leaving a lip, and a choice of three inserts. Ridged brass keeps the nosing monolithic for dry internal stairs. Ridged PVC adds grip and a contrasting colour. CarbiGrip is carborundum, the hardest of the three and the only one to specify where footwear arrives wet.
A brass offcut is money on the floor and a hand cut rarely finishes square. Workshop cutting gives clean ends and lets you order every step to its own measurement. This is also the way to order the 2.75 m length, which is not on the stock-length listing.

Measure each tread at the front edge and measure every step. Between two walls take 3mm to 5mm off. Custom lengths are non-returnable except for faults. Allow additional working days over a stock bar; standard UK mainland delivery is a flat rate.
