Same Height Transition Strips

When two floors finish at the same level, all the transition has to do is cover the join cleanly. That is what these strips are for: laminate meeting tile, LVT meeting engineered wood, vinyl meeting carpet tile, or two different floors meeting in a doorway.

T-bars are the usual choice. The stem drops into the expansion gap between the two floors and the head sits flush over both edges, hiding the cut lines and protecting them from chipping. Flat cover bars do the same job where there is no gap to key into, sitting on top of both surfaces and screwing or bonding down.

Getting the width right matters. A profile that is too narrow leaves a cut edge exposed as the floor moves seasonally; a wider bar gives tolerance and a tidier result.

Profiles are anodised aluminium in silver, gold, champagne, black and bronze, in a range of widths and standard lengths. Screws and plugs are included where relevant, and everything cuts to size with a hacksaw. UK stock with fast delivery and technical advice on request.
