GRP Sheets and Grating

Description

GRP Sheets and Grating

GRP, or glass reinforced plastic, does the structural jobs steel does without any of the corrosion. It will not rust, rot or react with chemicals, it does not conduct electricity, and it needs no painting or maintenance across a service life measured in decades.

This range covers moulded and pultruded grating panels for walkways, working platforms, mezzanine floors and trench covers, mini-mesh grating with smaller apertures that stop small items and heels dropping through, solid GRP sheet for decking and covers, and matching access ramps.

The top surface carries anti-slip grit bonded in during manufacture, so grip is part of the panel rather than a coating that wears off. Open mesh formats let water, light and air pass through, which is why GRP is standard specification around drainage, water treatment, marinas, offshore platforms and food processing.

At roughly a third the weight of steel, panels can be handled by two people and cut on site without a hot works permit, which cuts both installation cost and risk. Available in 25mm and 38mm depths in yellow, green and grey. UK stock with fast delivery.
