Description
This 4 drum spill containment pallet gives warehouses, workshops and manufacturing sites a compliant, ready-to-use base for storing four 205-litre drums of oils, chemicals, paints or other potentially polluting liquids. Built from corrosion-resistant polyethylene with broad chemical compatibility, this bunded spill pallet features a 250-litre sump capacity - enough to satisfy the UK Control of Pollution (Oil Storage) Regulations 2001 requirement to retain 25% of total stored volume, or 110% of the largest single container, whichever is greater.
As an open, four-way access design (no lid or cover), this drum spill containment pallet is quick to load and unload. Forklift pockets are moulded into all four sides, so the empty pallet can be lifted and repositioned from any direction with a standard forklift or pallet truck. A removable mesh grille deck sits on top, keeping drums stable and off any spilt liquid while lifting straps or the grille can be taken out entirely for easy cleaning.
Use this oil drum bund as standalone secondary containment or in a wider COSHH spill containment strategy for hazardous liquid storage. It pairs with a compatible drum access ramp (sold separately) where forklift or trolley access onto the deck is needed. Typical users include warehouses, garages, vehicle workshops, manufacturing plants, waste and recycling facilities, local authorities and farms that need a straightforward chemical drum storage pallet for day-to-day operations.
