Description

Stop Slips Before They Happen

FootGrip Anti-Slip Step Paint is a water-based acrylic coating loaded with fine silica grit, built to turn dangerously smooth steps, stairs and paths into a durable, high-grip surface that stays slip-resistant wet or dry. Formulated for both indoor and outdoor use, it's the fast, practical fix for the UK's number one cause of doorstep and stairway falls: worn, wet concrete and stone.

Unlike thin anti-slip additives mixed into ordinary paint, FootGrip is engineered from the ground up as a dedicated non-slip step coating. It bonds directly to concrete, masonry, stone and previously painted steps, shrugs off heavy foot traffic, and keeps its texture and colour for years through the British weather.

Key Benefits

  • High-grip, textured anti-slip finish that works wet or dry
  • Water-based, low-odour formula — safe to use in occupied homes and buildings
  • 14 UV-stable, fade-resistant colours for safety marking and edge visibility
  • Suitable for indoor and outdoor concrete, masonry, brick and previously painted steps
  • Breathable coating film reduces blistering, peeling and cracking
  • Available in 5L, 10L, 20L and 1000L bulk tank sizes for jobs of any scale

Where To Use It

Ideal for front doorsteps, garden and patio steps, fire escapes, warehouse and factory access steps, school and hospital stairways, communal stairwells, and any concrete, masonry, brick or rendered step that needs genuine slip resistance — plus ramps and access platforms where extra grip matters.

Pack Sizes & Coverage

Available in 5, 10 and 20 litre tins plus a 1000 litre IBC tank, covering everything from a single front step to large commercial and local-authority safety upgrade projects. Typical coverage is 6–8 m² per litre per coat (two coats recommended, three for high-traffic steps).

Colours

Choose from Charcoal, Mid Grey, Light Grey, Brown, Sandstone, Terracotta, Black, Red, White, Mid Green, Dark Green, Light Blue, Mid Blue and Dark Blue — ideal for matching an existing scheme or creating a high-visibility step edge for safety compliance.
