Description

Anti-Slip Step Paint for Safer Steps, Stairs & Paths

Wet, worn steps are one of the most common causes of slips at home and at work. Our anti-slip step paint is a UK-manufactured, water-based acrylic coating loaded with fine silica grit, giving concrete, masonry and previously painted steps a durable, textured, high-grip surface that stays slip-resistant in wet, damp and heavily-trafficked conditions — indoors or outdoors.

Unlike thin "anti-slip additive" mixes, this coating is engineered specifically as a non-slip step and stair paint: it bonds directly to the substrate, resists heavy foot traffic, and keeps its grip and colour for years even in the British climate.

Key Benefits

  • High-grip, textured anti-slip finish that works wet or dry
  • Water-based, low-odour formula — safe to use in occupied buildings
  • 14 UV-stable, fade-resistant colours for step edges, safety marking and general use
  • Suitable for indoor and outdoor concrete, masonry and previously painted steps
  • Breathable coating film reduces blistering, peeling and cracking
  • Manufactured in the UK to a consistent, trade-grade specification

Where to Use It

Ideal for front door steps, garden and patio steps, fire escapes, warehouse and factory steps, school and hospital stairways, communal stairwells, and any concrete, masonry, brick or rendered step that needs a genuine non-slip surface. Also suitable for ramps and access platforms where extra grip is required.

Pack Sizes & Coverage

Available in 5 litre, 10 litre, 20 litre and 1000 litre IBC tank sizes, covering everything from a single front step to large-scale commercial and local authority safety upgrade projects. Typical coverage is 6–8 m² per litre per coat (two coats recommended, three for high-traffic areas).

Colours

Choose from Charcoal, Mid Grey, Light Grey, Brown, Sandstone, Terracotta, Black, Red, White, Mid Green, Dark Green, Light Blue, Mid Blue and Dark Blue — ideal for matching existing schemes or creating high-visibility step edges for safety compliance.
