Multi-Zone Remote Control for LED Stair Lighting, 4 Zones, Natural White

This multi-zone remote controls LED stair lighting in up to four separate zones from one handset. Each numbered zone button selects an area, such as the lower flight, the landing or the upper flight, and the touch wheel dims it or, on the tunable white and RGB versions, changes the colour temperature or colour. Three scene buttons recall your favourite settings. It works with our multi-zone receivers, one per zone, powered by the remote-ready 12V LED driver, and it is made in three versions to match our natural white tape and our tunable white and RGB tape.

Why it works

One handset, four areas

On larger projects the lighting is rarely one simple circuit. With a multi-zone remote you can keep the main stair bright while the back stair stays dim, or light the landing on its own at night. Each zone is set independently, so there is no need for a remote per area.

Scenes at a touch

Three scene buttons store complete settings across the zones: a bright evening setting, a soft night glow and an event setting, for example. Hotels, restaurants and busy households use scenes so that anyone can set the right lighting without adjusting each zone.

Range to suit the building

The remote has a range of up to 30m, which covers most homes and many commercial stairwells from one position. If you prefer, the same receivers can also be run from a smartphone app or voice control.

Choosing the right option

Choose the version that matches your tape and your receivers: natural white, tunable white or RGB. A mismatched remote will not give you every function of the tape. Then plan your zones. Each independent zone needs its own multi-zone receiver and remote-ready driver. Where one zone has more tape than a single driver can run, up to eight receivers can be set to the same zone so they respond together. One remote covers up to four zones; for one area only, our single-zone remote and controller is simpler and costs less.

Installation, use and care

Install the drivers and receivers first; the mains side of each driver must be fitted by a qualified electrician. Then pair each receiver to a zone button following the instructions supplied, and save your scenes. Keep the remote somewhere easy to find, away from heat and moisture, and clean it with a dry cloth.
