Self-Adhesive Flooring Products
Self-adhesive products remove the two things people most want to avoid on a flooring job: drilling and downtime. Peel the backing, position, press down firmly, and the installation is done. That makes them ideal for rented properties, occupied buildings, tiled or concrete substrates you would rather not penetrate, and any job that has to be finished overnight.
This range covers self-adhesive stair nosings that retrofit over an existing step edge, anti-slip tapes for stairs, ramps and walkways, self-adhesive threshold and transition strips for doorways, and peel-and-stick skirting and beading for finishing perimeters.
The adhesives used are high-tack pressure-sensitive systems, not general-purpose tape. Bond strength develops over the first 24 hours, so the key is surface preparation: clean, dry, dust-free, above 10C, with any polish or sealer removed. Done properly, a self-adhesive fixing holds for years in normal domestic and light commercial traffic.
