As others have noted, it ships in a box shorter than item, so it arrives folded to fit in box. I put it on a flat spot in a car, closed windows, left it for a day. It naturally straightened to its original shape.

When you think of a classic stair tread this is it. Just what I was looking for. Soft yet sturdy. Someone mentioned cutting with scissors and that is not possible - I needed to use a miter saw.

Bought this protective edger to protect top of our hardwood floor stairs. A few screws and it was securely in place. With amount of traffic our stairs had, I just didn't feel safe with adherence type of edging. It was extremely easy to install and looks and feels well made. Too early to see tell how durable it is.
